The New Literacies Team:
Clint has worked in the private, non-profit, United Nations, and NGO sectors before making the move to education at the American Embassy School, New Delhi. Landing in Istanbul with a Masters in Education Technology, his goals are to provide responsible technology enablement while keeping on eye on a progressive education future.
Amanda has been the Teacher Librarian here at Istanbul International Community School in 2009. She is passionate about working with our students to help them develop a love of reading and learning. She believes that technology is an essential part of receiving and delivering information. Our New Literacies team is working hard to empower teachers and students to be confident and competent in the areas of information, tool and community literacy.
Ms. Tracy Arnold (vice principal secondary school) was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She has lived overseas for 30 years and worked in other international schools in Venezuela, Romania and Italy. Her previous work experience includes being an IT director, grades 6-10 curriculum coordinator, tech integration specialist, Wellness, IT and DP ITGS teacher. Ms. Arnold likes to hike, camp and spend time on the beach unplugged from electronics. She believes that 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything and enjoys watching action and sci-fi movies.
